Travelers eager to visit the “NARUTO&BORUTO Shinobi-Zato” attraction on Awaji Island will soon benefit from a streamlined journey, thanks to a new direct bus ticket package launching on July 1, 2026. This package offers a convenient round-trip highway bus ride from Kyoto Station to Awaji I.C., paired with entry to the popular anime-themed park. By eliminating the need for transfers, the package is poised to enhance the day-trip experience for both local and international visitors.

The trip from Kyoto to Awaji Island, which takes approximately 90 minutes, promises a scenic adventure with views of bridges and the sea as travelers approach the anime park. Once there, visitors can enjoy the “Heaven’s Scroll (Ten no Maki)” three-dimensional maze and the “Earth Scroll (Chi no Maki)” mission rally, two of the park’s major attractions included with the admission ticket.

This new travel option is available exclusively for weekday travel, with exceptions during major holiday periods. Ticket prices are set at 8,200 yen for adults and 4,250 yen for children, inclusive of taxes. Tickets can be purchased online, though they must be exchanged at the Kyoto Bus Ticket Center prior to travel.

“NARUTO&BORUTO Shinobi-Zato” brings the world of the beloved ninja anime series to life, featuring various attractions such as recreations of the Hidden Leaf Village, character displays, training activities, and interactive experiences. Situated within Nijigen no Mori, the park blends elements of Japanese anime culture with engaging outdoor entertainment.

Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island is celebrated for its attractions based on famous Japanese entertainment franchises, providing visitors with interactive experiences in a natural setting. The introduction of the direct bus service from Kyoto is anticipated to make this unique anime destination more accessible to fans and tourists seeking an engaging summer travel experience in Japan.
