Arden Cho, widely recognized for her voice role as Rumi in the Netflix series “KPop Demon Hunters,” recently tied the knot with orthopedic surgeon Christopher Lee in an elaborate wedding celebration held over several days in Florence, Italy. The couple was joined by family and close friends as they celebrated their union in a city that holds a special place in their hearts.
The pair, who initially connected via a dating app, became engaged during a trip to Maui in March 2025. They chose Florence for their nuptials due to its personal significance, marking it as the locale where they realized they had found their partners for life. The wedding festivities artfully combined elements of Korean tradition with contemporary style.
The celebration began with welcome festivities where Arden and Christopher donned traditional Korean hanbok attire. For the main ceremony at the picturesque Villa Cora, Arden wore a custom wedding gown designed by Vera Wang. The couple also paid homage to Korean customs by including a traditional pyebaek ceremony in their wedding events.
Despite encountering hurdles such as delayed luggage, travel issues for some family members, and a heatwave in Florence, the celebrations proceeded smoothly. Arden Cho, who has recently gained broader acclaim for her role in “KPop Demon Hunters,” is also busy producing “Perfect Girl,” an upcoming psychological thriller with a K-pop theme.
